About DeckJacks
Family-owned, detail-driven and based in Auckland.
Who we are
Craftsmanship you can see in the finish
DeckJacks is a family-owned and operated business based in Auckland, led by Josiah Moran, a focused craftsman who holds every project to a high standard.
We started out specialising in floating deck systems and have grown into a full tiling business. Today we take on bathrooms, kitchens, fireplaces, terraces, rooftops and commercial spaces, as well as the waterproofing, underfloor heating and framing that sit underneath them.
Because one team handles the whole job, nothing falls between trades. We listen carefully to what you want and go the extra mile to get it right.
Planned properly
Layout, falls, substrate and adhesive are worked out before the first tile goes down.
One accountable team
Waterproofing, heating, framing and tiling, all handled by us with no hand-offs.
Finished with care
Clean cuts, consistent joints and a tidy site at the end of every day.
Client reviews
Trusted by Auckland homeowners
I had a complex deck area that Josiah from DeckJacks came in to look at and he amazed me with his ideas and expertise. There were a lot of various factors that he had to work around but was able to complete the job without any issues and to an amazing standard. He also made me feel very at ease to leave him at my house, knowing I could trust him. Would definitely recommend.
We found Josiah to be a complete breath of fresh air. He was super responsive and when he visited it was obvious he knew what he was talking about. We found his manner very professional. He was incredibly particular with his work and the result is fantastic. No fuss, easy engagement, great service. We would absolutely use him again.
